Alley, Philadelphia

I had to do a lot of cropping to this photo; it was an overcast, albeit very bright day and most of the photos I took came out completely overblown because of the difficult light from the sky.  I’m not quite good enough (yet) to compensate for that, but one day…one day.

I like that there are so many things going on in this photo.  People, shapes, animals, textures, shadows, lines, and the general behind-the-scenes goings on of city life.  Plus, I really liked the black and white.

Processed to monochrome and cropped in Lightroom, with minor adjustments.
