Sorry for the poor, bootleggy quality of this video but it’s too funny to pass up. Back in the day, when McCartney was writing the melody for “Yesterday,” he came up with a set of stupid lyrics to help him remember how the song went. It was called “Scrambled Eggs” and opened with the line “Scrambled eggs, oh my baby how I love your legs.” Luckily for us, Jimmy Fallon convinced The Great One to sing a full-on rendition of scrambled eggs for the first time, and it’s a delicious and hilarious musical trip. I imagine this song is a direct result of the munchies. Mmm, scrambled eggs, waffle fries and chicken, er, tofu wings. I’m hungry.
